To promote a culture of research excellence that supports a community of scholars in creating and developing new knowledge.
GOALS
The Research and Publication Office aims to promote, enhance, and sustain the research culture of the University by providing the necessary leadership in the scholarly pursuit of research and publication.
OBJECTIVES
The Research and Publication Office is committed to:

sustain the implementation of the research and publication capability building programs for faculty, personnel, and students through
1.1 training of faculty, personnel, and student researchers in the acquisition of scientific writing skills;
1.2 publication of scholarly research output in professional and advancing journals of the University and
national and international refereed journals; and
1.3 conduct of annual research competitions research forums and colloquia
2. ensure the quality of scientific writing through the use of technology based quality assurance software;
3. assist in drawing up research agenda of the various colleges of the University;
4. identify research priority areas of the industries and target communities of the University;
5. link with local, national, and international stakeholders for research and publication funding; and
6. synchronize research and publication activities of the various departments of the University to prevent
undue delay of journal publications.
