True to her commitment as a knowledge generating institution, Liceo de Cagayan University held an Evaluation of the Research Thrusts and Research Agenda in the presence of the various stakeholders. The research evaluation activity was held on November 11, 2015 at the University Audio Visual Room 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Dr. Mariano M. Lerin, University President, welcomed all of the participants and Dr. Ma. Florecilla C. Cinches, Vice President for Academic Affairs, gave the purpose behind the evaluation. Dr. Felsa A. Labis, Liceo Center for Community Development introduced the participants while Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos, Research and Publication Director, presented the University and College Thrusts and Agenda.

 

   Coming from the different national government agencies, local government units, industries, and companies in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City, stakeholders participated enthusiastically participated in the evaluation by giving their perspectives specifically on how the University can better attain her aim of extending her services and contributing her research expertise to the community.    Ms. Ma. Elena C. Reyes, College of Arts and Sciences and Medical Laboratory Science Research Coordinator hosted the activity. The presence of the college deans, research coordinators as well as community extension coordinators with the University faculty and students gave the evaluation activity a more meaningful learning atmosphere.
