The Liceo de Cagayan University Office of the Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension, and College of Information and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hon. Joshua A. Taboclaon, Barangay Chairman of Barangay Canitoan on April 8, 2017, at Session Hall, Barangay Canitoan. Liceo de Cagayan University was represented by Dr. Lesley C. Lubos, VPRPE, Dr. Felsa A. Labis, Director for Liceo Center for Community Development, Dr. Andrew P. Ponte, Dean of the College of Information Technology, Mr. Marco Rado, College of Information and Technology Instructor and Mr. Salm Kairo C. Dumanlag, Community Organizer. The project is geared towards providing training in Computer Hardware Servicing and Software Application for the twenty (20) Out-of-School Youth from Barangay Canitoan. This Computer Literacy Project has been undertaken by the College of Information Technology for the University’s various adopted communities.
