LDCU Appoints A New Associate Director For Research and Publication   

 

 

   Dr. Donna Lou Evasco Neri is appointed as the new Associate Director of the Research and Publication Office starting School Year 2015-2016.

 

Dr. Neri is an experienced researcher, peer reviewer, journal editor, academician and clinician in the health care field. Her educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Planning and Management from Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST), a Master of Health Social Science from De La Salle University (DLSU), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Liceo de Cagayan University (LDCU). She bagged the 10th place in the 1997 Nursing Licensure Board Exam.

 

As a multi-awarded researcher, she has conducted and published researches related to nursing education, health and environment in local and international peer-reviewed journals. As research leader, she spearheaded conferences, trainings and workshops to advocate the conduct of scientific studies, dissemination of findings, and eventually the translation of these evidences into utilization and improved practices.

 

Her passion for research honed her skills in peer reviewing and editing. She became a peer reviewer for health-related articles and served as Editor-in-Chief in institutional, local and international journal publications.

 

Fresh from her 3-year stint as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she is ready to share her knowledge and experiences in research and journal publication management.

 

Dr. Neri is as well the current Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Health, a CHED JAS Category B and internationally indexed journal.
