In line with the campaign of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) to motivate researchers from Higher Educational Institutions in the region to become members of the research council, representatives of the NRCP visited HEIs in Cagayan de Oro City. Liceo University was one of the universities that they visited last November 16, 2016. The representatives from NRCP were Ms. Renia C. Corocoto, Ms. Melinda L. Perez, Mr. Jesse M. Nicarera, and Ms. Ma. Estrella Valle. They had a meeting with Dr, Lesley Casas Lubos, the Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension at the OVPRPE, together with Dr. Felsa Labis, LCCD Director and Ms. Maria Elena C. Reyes, RPO Assoc. Director.
