MDFA Dengue Prevention Drive at Liceo U

    On April 24, 2015, the Mosquito-Dengue Fighters Association (MDFA) in cooperation with Liceo Mindanao Center for Biodiversity and Conservation (LIMCEBCON) and the Research and Publication Office conducted a seminar on “Dengue Prevention” at the Demo Room of the College of Nursing, Liceo de Cagayan University.  Speakers were Mr. John Immanuel A. Gualberto, Assistant Staff of  MDFA, and Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos, MDFA Misamis Oriental Chapter Head and RPO Director. It was participated by the College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy.

 

   The MDFA is a registered nonprofit, non-government organization that works to fight dengue through mosquito eradication. It is composed of various professionals and non-professionals who aspire to help alleviate the plight of dengue-infested communities in the Philippines. Part of its current activities is dissemination of information through educational presentations for school children, college students, and communities to raise dengue awareness and prevention.
