Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos, the Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension was chosen as one of the Top Five National Finalists in the Administrative Head Category of the nationwide search for the Outstanding Private Education Retirement Annuity Association (PERAA) Members for 2016. The finalists went through a rigorous process of selection. The first phase was the submission of the required documents of the nominees. The second phase was the selection process wherein the panel of judges from select private sectors evaluated all the submitted documents and selected the qualifiers. Lastly, the top five finalists who were selected based on their qualifications were called for an interview by the panel of judges from the private and government sectors which was held at Makati City on September 8, 2016. The PERAA is an organization that aims to provide adequate and affordable retirement programs to members from participating private educational institutions. One of their major annual activities is to select outstanding members that embody the ideals of the association.
