Engineering and IT students participate in research capability building

   Students from the College of Engineering and College of Information Technology participated in the Research Capability Building Seminar hosted by the CIT in coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension (OVRPE) on August 3, 2016 at CISCO Laboratory from 1:30-5:00 in the afternoon. The resource person Ms. Maria Elena C. Reyes, RPO Associate Director, discussed first the University guidelines and procedures for research undertaking of the students. The highlight of the seminar was on organizing the literature review and on how to avoid plagiarism. Also present in the activity were Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos, VPRPE, Mr. Brian Tubongbanua, CIT Research Coordinator, and Engr. Lory Liza Bulay-og. COE Research Coordinator. The seminar was conducted in line with the thrust of the OVPRPE to enhance the research competency of the students.
