Liceo U Researchers present collaborative research outputs
in DOH Regional Office 10

    Liceo University researchers, headed by Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos, Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension presented two studies conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health Region 10 on July 15, 2016 at the DOH Regional Office. Dr. Lesley Casas Lubos served as the Project Leader of the two studies in coordination with Dr. Nimfa B. Torrizo, Director IV of DOH Region 10.

    The first study was on Potability of  Water Supply Using Conventional and PML Methods to Select Salintubig Projects in Region 10. Engr.  Jeffrey D. Elogsong (DOH) served as the Study Leader with the following members: Dr. Judy M arie R. Zoleta (LDCU), Engr. Julieta Helen S. Parel (DOH), Engr. Ma. Carmela A. Roa (DOH), and Mr. Sergio Ramon R. Bautista (CH).

    The second study focused on Knowledge, Attitude and Behaviors related to Climate Change in Cagayan de Oro City: Implications to Public Health Policies and Practices with Jasper Kent Ola (DOH) as Study Leader. The members of the research team were Dr. Donna Lou Neri (LDCU), Karen Kaye Alcesto (DOH), Adyllyne Grace Lacuna (DOH), and Al Daven (DOH).

    The two studies were completed within one year with P1.4M grant from DOH. Dr. Lubos and Dr. Torrizo are looking forward for more collaborative researches between Liceo de Cagayan University and the Department of Health.
