Liceo de Cagayan University held RODELSA Lecture Series 8: Liceo Journal of Higher Education Research Presentation on February 28, 2015 at the AVR 3. Dr. Ma. Florecilla C. Cinches, VP for Academic Affairs, welcomed the participants and Dr. Mariano M. Lerin, University President, delivered an inspirational message.

 

    The presenters showcased studies that are not only relevant to the University but also to the research community.  Engr. Dominic T. Polancos of Liceo de Cagayan University presented the study on “The Reliability and Validity of Student Assessment of Teacher Performance (SATP) Scale: A confirmatory Factor Analysis.” Dr. Ruth Love V. Russel of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan discussed the results of her collaborative study on “Socio-Cultural Variables and Ethnocentrism among Senior College Students: Implications to ASEAN 2015.” Mr. Elizalde D. Bana of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology presented his experimental study on “Cryopreserved and Lyophylized Amniotic Fluids Using Levine’s Conservation Model: A Breakthrough in the Process of Wound Healing.”  Lastly, Assoc. Prof. Mateo R. Borbon, guest presenter from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde discussed his study on “The Role of Self-Efficacy to Persistence of Technology Students in the Philippines.”

 

     The Panel of Reactors were Dr. Donna Lou E. Neri of Liceo de Cagayan University, Dr. Olivia P. Canencia of Mindanao University of Science and Technology, and Prof. Mateo R. Borbon of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The Director of Research and Publication Office of Liceo de Cagayan University, Dr. Lesley C. Lubos, gave the closing remarks. Edzen A. Espina, Dean of the College of Radiologic Technology, was the master of ceremony. The activity which was attended by the faculty and research students was organized by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Research and Publication Office on the occasion of the 60th Founding Anniversary of Liceo de Cagayan University.
