Select Liceo de Cagayan University students from the Colleges of Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Medical Laboratory Science, together with Ms. Maria Elena C. Reyes, RPO Assoc. Director, and Mrs. Emma Dejarme, Research and Community Extension Coordinator of the College of Nursing, participated in the Philippine Health Sector Review Forum sponsored by the University of the Philippines Visayas Foundation, Inc. (UPVFI)- Health Policy Development Program and hosted by the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Health Research and Development (NorMinCOHRD) last August 31, 2017 at the Luxe Hotel, Limketai Mall.
The forum aimed to disseminate the results of a review of the Philippine Health Care sector in the past 25 years. The review was conducted by eminent health economist and policy consultants in the country headed by Dr. Orville Solon, Dr. Alejandro N. Herrin and Dr. Carlo Panelo.
