Ms. Maria Elena C. Reyes, RPO Associate Director from the Office of the Vice President for Research, Publication, and Extension participated in the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD) R & D Proposal Writeshop on Priority Commodities and SAFE last November 28-29, 2017 at Harbor Lights Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. Researchers coming from the member institutions of NOMCAARRD in Region X, of which Liceo de Cagayan University is an active member, participated in the activity. Collaborating institutions sat down together to come up with proposals covering the priority commodities and SAFE project for Region X. Ten (10) proposals were generated and presented on the second day. Proponents were given seven (7) days to revise the proposals and submit it back to NOMCAARRD. The proposals will be submitted to the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARD) for review and evaluation for funding.
